What began as me coming to capture the first moments of a happy couple in their new home turned into an elaborate and beautiful surprise proposal. Priyen had commissioned a drone to take a picture of Hina's favorite view of San Francisco, and got it printed on a large canvas because she always wanted to be proposed to in front of that view. Their brand new loft in SOMA, San Francisco, was empty except for that photo, an array of string lights, a giant heart formed from yellow rose petals and candles, and a sweet arrangement of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate the engagement.
