I had never been to a Jewish wedding before, let alone photographed one; but if they're all as beautiful as this one, I think I have to make a point to go to more! It was an unbelievably hot day in Petaluma, but the scenery at the winery helped keep it comfortable. It was a relatively small wedding, and the bride had a party full of her step siblings, cousins, and her soon-to-be-sister-in-law as her maid of honor.
Everyone at the wedding seemed to have an incredible time, including some of the bride's students with special needs who were able to attend. I was working as a second shooter, and unfortunately, I played as more the role of assistant during the staged family and bride-and-groom photos, so I didn't get any of those, but I was very happy with how my shots turned out. The bride was also excited that the vineyard had horses because she used to ride, and wanted a few shots with one for her special day!
