As you may or may not know from my "About Me" section or from knowing me in real life, I'm a high school teacher in the Bay Area. Before I started my current teaching job, I taught for a few years at East Palo Alto Academy - a charter school in the Sequoia Union High School District that was kind of Stanford Education Department's love child. It was an incredible experience and it was very hard for me to leave. Then, a few months ago, my old boss contacted me and asked if I would like to photograph prom and I jumped at the opportunity!
