This past weekend was incredibly hectic for me, but it started out with the coolest event I've ever worked. Getaround, a social car sharing and renting company based in San Fransisco, was celebrating a booming year with clients, employees and past employees with an interesting twist. There was an elaborate spread of decorations, themed foods and drinks, and of course, performers.
My favorite part had to be the aerial acrobats performing in rings suspended above the bar. The founders, Jessica Scorpio, Sam Zaid, and Elliot Kroo, gave heartwarming speeches about their growth as a company, and their ultimate goal of reducing the number of cars on the road.
