Both my sister and myself are high school teachers. She teaches in Pleasanton, and is the advisor for the GSA at her school (Gender and Sexuality Alliance). Every year for the past few years, I've gone to Pleasanton's First Wednesday street fair to support her at her GSA table, and of course take part in all the other festivities!
This year, my sister set up a Photo Booth with an excellent theme, "Love is a terrible thing to hate." All sorts of people donned rainbow leis, mustaches, and flags and got their pictures taken in front of the poster-board. I got to meet a lot of happy people supporting friends, family, or just the movement in general.
Here are some of my shots from this year's, featuring random sights, and of course a lot of support for my sister's table.
