My first time shooting (or even attending) a quinceanera was a very interesting experience. I had no idea how much went into the actual ceremony, and how similar it feels to a full on wedding. The celebrant, Natalia, was wearing what could be confused for a wedding gown, aside from its pink tint, and had her own maids and men, as there would be in a wedding. The ceremony was beautiful, and was followed by a photo session at the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco.

I wasn't able to attend or photograph the reception, but judging by the rest of the day, I can only assume it was spectacular!
