I had the unique pleasure of photographing and helping plan my big sister's proposal. She and her boyfriend (*fiancé) have been dating for the past five years, but have known each other since they were little kids. Even though I'm the baby sister, I am a little protective of my sister, and had to help make sure that Brother (I've been calling him that for at least the past two or three years) got the right ring, and carried out the proposal in the right way.
My sister already had a feeling that he was going to propose, especially because he was so nervous that he could hardly eat dinner beforehand , but with the help of some of her soon-to-be-bridesmaids and myself (the maid of honor, obviously) she was still surprised enough, and of course, overjoyed!
