I've already posted about these two beautiful people twice before - once for the surprise baby shower that Yoni organized for Jennifer, and once for a private maternity shoot - but this is where it all began!
I got brought on for this wedding as a second shooter for a local wedding photographer. In the morning before the wedding, I was sent to capture the groom's party getting ready while the primary shooter was with the bride's party. I had hurt my back pretty horribly while on a photo trip for a water bottle company (I've posted a few photos from that trip but I think maybe I should do a proper blog post for it...), but I was determined to do the best job possible. With an extra-large IcyHot patch and some helpings of Ibuprofen, I was working hard to capture every moment.
The wedding was absolutely gorgeous, as one would only expect from such a beautiful couple. Even though I had to lie down on the floor of a random room in pain for about ten minutes before dinner, I was really happy with all the shots I got; and apparently, so were the bride and groom! If you haven't read about this in my baby shower post for these two, the story goes like this:
Even though the photographer I was working with was with the bride's side in the morning because, as he said, she was "very particular," and wanted to make sure they got the best shots for her, Jennifer ended up telling her new husband how she liked the work that I did even better! So when Jenni got pregnant a few months later, and Yoni was organizing her surprise shower, he searched his phone for my contact info and asked me to shoot for them.
