Look at these rays of emo sunshine over here! That yelling goofball in the middle is my good friend, Erik Jones. He and I first met in Oakland a few years ago at a show I was photographing. First, my flash ran out of batteries, and he saved my butt by brining me some spares. Then, my car got broken into, and he helped me out by cleaning up the broken glass and taping up my window with a cardboard box. He even drove behind me for most of my way home to make sure I got there safely.
Why am I sharing this long story? To demonstrate what a neat-o guy Erik is! He works as a promoter and sound engineer for local shows in the Bay Area for a company called PinUp Productions. Lately, he's started organizing and facilitating Emo Night shows, and I never thought that I would have such a blast!
