The sun was not playing around for this combination maternity and engagement photoshoot in Half Moon Bay! I had originally met these two when I was photographing one of their friends' weddings and they reached out to me to photograph their wedding a few months later. Their plans changed a little bit when they found out they were expecting a baby girl, but I was thrilled to capture two big life moments in one session.
The couple also included their first "baby" — their dog, Ollie — who helped make the session even sweeter. At this point, I had done a handful of sessions at this location before, but I was excited to expand over to a nearby beach for sunset. It's an understatement to say that both locations did not disappoint! Even though the wind had picked up quite a bit, we leaned in and were able to capture some incredible portraits.
