*WHEW* this was the farthest I've traveled for a photoshoot so far, but oh man was it worth it! Rachael and I lived together for a year in college, and I was thrilled when she reached out inquiring about wedding photography! She and her fiancé met online while they were both training for the army, and even though her first impression of him was that he was a bit of a jerk (her words) they hit it off so quickly - and I mean you cannot tell me that you can't *feel* the love radiating off of these photos because that would be a downright lie.
They will be getting married in a beautiful area in Northern California (like actual northern), so she was intent on having the engagement photos on the beach since she's been a life-long ocean lover. I met them in Mendocino, which was about a four-hour drive away for me. We met at Russian Gulch State Park after I did a little research and fell in love with the bridge. I had never been there, which I usually don't like to do with photo locations, but I felt pretty confident with this spot, and it was as close to perfect as we could have asked for!
